BLOODBORNE EXPERIMENTAL LINUX STANDALONE — 1.0.1-rc.1 10 October 2026 This replaces the withdrawn Linux 94de759 playtest. It is a fresh Linux build of the repaired standalone application. It remains experimental; no live Bloodborne/shadPS4 gameplay acceptance is claimed. GAME DATA The old archive contained the native event catalog. The replacement omits the original event catalog, original event bodies and game input databases. Enemy and boss randomization reads the player's unpacked game data locally. The known game-payload distribution audit passes. Private validation fixtures were kept outside the release package. LICENSES AND SOURCE BBStandaloneItemWriter and BBStandaloneEnemyWriter link SoulsFormatsNEXT and are distributed under GPLv3, with their corresponding source, upstream changes, dependency sources, build recipe, license and source/binary hashes. The Python app retains MIT. The root MIT grant does not relicense the native executables. ZstdNet and libzstd are built from the included reviewed sources. The Linux profile removes Windows DLL-copy rules and uses libzstd.so. .NET 9.0.20 is self-contained; its Linux package's repository revision matches the included exact runtime source. Original .NET and dependency notices accompany it. 53 frozen ELF runtime files were matched byte-for-byte to their Ubuntu package files, spanning 29 binary packages and 27 source packages. Original copyright notices, referenced common license texts and the matching source-package archives are included. PyInstaller's original license exception and exact version source archive are included. Editable Python source and a Docker build recipe are under source-app. No source download from the author's GitHub is needed to obtain these materials; rebuilding still uses normal toolchain and NuGet downloads. LINUX REPAIRS AND REQUIREMENTS Native-writer lookup and frozen-executable recognition now support extensionless Linux executable names. The archive preserves executable permissions. Both CLI and GUI share the same runtime. Python and .NET installations are not required. This replacement targets Ubuntu 24.04 / glibc 2.39 or newer, rather than the old playtest's glibc 2.35 baseline. It needs system OpenSSL 3, ICU, zlib and an X11 or XWayland display. Read README-Linux.txt before running. BBLauncher and shadPS4 are separate applications. VERIFICATION 44 app tests pass on Linux (and on Windows for the shared filename changes). The actual final archive was extracted and tested with an empty executable PATH and Python/.NET environment variables removed. CLI/GUI executable startup, version reporting, every bundled JSON/TSV file, reviewed/expanded enemy planning (308 / 1,605 swaps), boss planning, real item generation, same-seed repeatability, different-seed output, export/verification and refusal checks pass. A GUI window opened under a virtual X display. The source-built libzstd reports 1.4.5 and passes compression/decompression round-trip validation. Every archive member matches the packaged file hash, and executable permissions are checked. RELEASE-VERIFICATION.json records these results and the archive checksum. LIMITS No live gameplay, Steam Deck or older-distribution acceptance is claimed. These are engineering/source/package checks, not legal certification or a universal copyright detector. The old Linux archive stays withdrawn. The Linux AP launcher is a separate product and is not restored by this release.
