BLOODBORNE STANDALONE RANDOMIZER 1.0.1-rc.1 Windows x64 remediation release — 10 October 2026 This replaces the withdrawn Windows 1.0.0 distribution. It is an unsigned release candidate. Live gameplay has not been rerun; boss shuffle remains experimental. No Linux replacement is included in this publication. WHAT CHANGED The identified decompiled event-script research bundle and legacy catalogs of original event bodies are no longer shipped. Enemy and boss processing reads original data from the player's installation locally. The native processing route is self-contained: players do not need to install DarkScript, Python or .NET separately. Patched game files are generated locally for personal use. BBStandaloneEnemyWriter.exe and BBStandaloneItemWriter.exe link SoulsFormatsNEXT and are distributed as combined works under GPLv3. Original project source retains its MIT grant; third-party components retain their own notices. The root MIT license does not relicense those combined executables. The tools now use the GPL-bearing upstream SoulsFormatsNEXT revision f2192ec0de9ec81b975cc5e622481daad0945d67. The profile removes unused or unreviewed texture dependencies, restricts texture operations to PC operations, and repairs zero-row PARAM handling. Compression API consumers and a boxed-value comparison in the item writer were updated accordingly. The download includes tools/source-native: source snapshots, the modified upstream profile, build scripts, original notices, and executable/source hashes. ZstdNet 1.4.5 and zstd 1.4.5 are built from pinned source. Their source and notices, including libdivsufsort-lite's notice, accompany the tools. Exact .NET 9.0.20 runtime source is included with provenance; this does not mean that Microsoft's entire runtime was rebuilt for this release. Python, PyInstaller and its exception, Tcl/Tk, OpenSSL and zlib notices are included. App-local VC runtime DLLs come from the signed Visual Studio release redistributable with recorded hashes, provenance and redistribution terms. VALIDATION The release-labeled frozen package was copied outside the repository and run with Python and .NET removed from its search path. Console and GUI help/version checks passed. All packaged data files opened. The enemy planner produced 308 reviewed and 1,605 expanded swaps; the frozen boss-placement planning check passed. A real items-only build passed using private local game inputs: the same seed produced byte-identical game outputs twice, another seed differed, and the original gameparam was unchanged. Export and receipt verification passed, as did the smoke suite's tamper/refusal checks. The private game inputs and generated test game files are not included in this release. The included native source and both binary receipts are verified. The final ZIP is compared file-by-file with the package and checked for known extracted-game payloads. RELEASE-VERIFICATION.json records the release results and archive hash. LIMITATIONS AND SCOPE These are local engineering checks, not a live shadPS4 gameplay or boss-fight acceptance run. This release does not claim to erase public Git history, grant rights in Bloodborne assets, fix old downloads retroactively, or complete the audits of other products. The package checker is a regression aid, not a legal certification or a universal copyright detector. INSTALLATION Extract the entire ZIP to a fresh folder. Run BloodborneRandomizerGUI.exe for the desktop app (BloodborneRandomizer.exe provides the CLI). Select your own Bloodborne CUSA03173 v1.09 installation and the appropriate BBLauncher Mods folder. Keep the game closed while preparing/activating a generated mod. Use a new character and one randomizer package at a time. Preserve the source and license directories when redistributing the tool.
